Terms of use

Toobah is a platform that brings players and pitch owners together: we list pitches, their hours and their prices, we let you book and pay, and we give the owner a dashboard to run the bookings. The service itself, the pitch and the game on it, is provided by the venue, and the venue is responsible for it.

You are responsible for your details being correct and for keeping your phone number, password and the codes we send you safe. Do not share a code with anyone. Tell us at once if you think someone has got into your account.

Prices are set by the venue and shown to you before you confirm, in Iraqi dinars. You can pay online or in cash at the pitch where the venue allows it. A booking is not confirmed until you see it confirmed in the app.

Each venue has a cancellation policy, shown before you confirm, and that policy governs any refund. If a venue cancels a confirmed booking without good reason, we take it up with them and refund what was paid online.

That your details, photos and prices are accurate; that confirmed bookings are honoured; that the pitch is usable and safe at the booked time; and that players are treated with respect. Misleading details or bookings that are not honoured are reason enough to suspend a venue.

A venue owner subscribes monthly per venue. We take no commission on bookings: the booking money is theirs in full, and a payout deducts only what the transfer costs. The subscription starts once a payment is confirmed, and nothing is asked for before an application is approved. When a period ends we send reminders, then a grace period runs, and after it the venue stops appearing in the app's search and takes no new bookings. The bookings it already has are honoured, its dashboard stays open, and it reappears as soon as a payment is confirmed.

Reviews and notes you write must be truthful and free of abuse. Misleading, abusive or unlawful content is not allowed, nor is trying to disrupt the service or reach other people's data. We may remove content that breaks this or suspend an account, and we say why when we do.

We work to keep the service available and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or wrong. What happens at the pitch, an injury, damage or a dispute, is the responsibility of the venue and the players, not of Toobah. In any case our liability goes no further than Iraqi law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, and any dispute is heard by its competent courts.

We may update these terms. We publish the new version here with its date and tell account holders about the changes that matter. Carrying on using Toobah after an update means you accept it.
